Mikhail Ruvinovitch Radovel
Was born in 1938 in Ukraine, the city of Tcherkassy.
Education: In 1959 Mikhail Ruvinovitch Radovel graduated from Odessa Nautical College (the Department of Navigation) of the Marine Ministry.
In 1966 M.R. Radovel completed Kiev State University, the Philosophical faculty.
In 1969 in Kiev M.R. Radovel completed the postgraduate courses at the Philosophy Institute of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Department of Logics for Conducting Research.
Work Experience: M.R. Radovel worked as a sailor, boatswain, captain's mate on the long voyage vessels of the Odessa State Marine Steam Navigation Ministry; later M.R. Radovel started working as a teacher of Philosophy and other socio-humanitarian sciences at different universities and institutes of Russia: in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation.
Presently M.R. Radovel is the Head of the Sociology Chair at Rostov State Pedagogical University, a professor, Ph.D., director of the Social and Pedagogical Problems Research Institute (attached to the Russian Academy of Sciences).
Scientific interests include:
Hobby: composing poetry, a number of verses printed by Don publishing Houses, e.g. the book "A Wistful Strophe" (1996). Poems are mostly written on philosophical and civic topics, with a lyrical shade, a special emphasis is paid to short verses, very often having a satirical character.
